Just a little more to add to the RLC Thesis for investing into RLC.
When I started working as an junior analyst in the early 90's I worked with an absolute legend who was the top rated energy analyst in this country (IMO) specialising in Mining. Back then Australia certainly shared the mantle with Canada for being the place to go to if you wanted to invest in mining stocks.
Problem was apart from BHP/RIO and a few other large global players, the rest of our market was seen as a bit of a backwater or poor cousin. My colleague was head hunted by a large Global Broking firm to run their TSX/North American region so he left Oz with his family.
I managed to speak with him last night for a great chat on the phone about what is happening right now globally...and I am just so excited for the possibility of super returns coming from this space we see RLC targeting. This could be that once in a generation life changing investment opportunity. (Talking about the Lithium play...not specifically RLC)
He told me that while the world thinks electric car they think Tesla, when actually it was Tesla that started or ignited global interest in electric cars...thank you Mr Elon Musk.
However right now he is meeting with the largest and most prestigious global car makers, sitting with their CEO's and management teams and they are all talking about their immediate vision for their transition from traditional petrol/gas vehicles to EV...and its happening right now.
Take a look at these 2 articles:

https://www.engadget.com/2017/12/29/porsche-mission-e-ev-three-versions/
"We've already noted that Porsche is gunning for Tesla with its Mission Esports car, and has even been spotted testing it against the Model X and Model S. Now we know more about what you'll be able to buy when it goes on the market, reportedly in 2019. Automobile reports that it will likely release three all-wheel drive versions with 300 kW, 400 kW and 500 kW (402, 536 and 670 horsepower). It'll have a two-speed transmission and, as we've noted earlier, will hit 0 to 60 mph in around 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph, and go around 300 miles on a charge."
Porsche is ready to release next year and its game on. Merc and BMW are playing the same game right now. And the largest known issue my colleague raised???? getting enough Lithium to fulfill demand. This clearly explains why China is roaming the globe signing up every explorer they can...because its a race to starting line and you don't get there without this key component.
Could Geof have signed a deal with the Chinese by now taking us all the way through to production? You bet he could IMO....but he is playing the long game here.
Such an exciting place to be.....Happy to pick up anything that Patersons wants to sell below 6c...but from what I believe now is that they are out. So should be a couple of up days on our horizon.
