I take your point re advisers. Im not against using an adviser because of the current climate around AMP etc, its just about the fees and whether they would erode any potential gains that i couldn't access myself through a balanced portfolio of managed funds/LICs etc.
What are reasonable adviser fees? So look for fee for service instead of commission, any other tips?
I am mid 30s so have time on my side. But important to make a good decision now after 10 years of trying to pick the next 10 bagger with mixed results.
