I cannot deny that the prospects of this stock excite me and I look forward to seeing the sp rise to collect the longer term holders at ~20c on its way up. The impetus to Apex generated by the options coming into the money is nothing short of astounding and, if realised, should lay the ground work/platform for Apex to emerge as a solid mid tier gold miner, claiming its stake alongside its peers in the Australian mining sector.
As far as I'm concerned the Bad Management has fundamentally changed for the better and believe that the very best of this company is yet to come. The share price is very very low at the moment and reflects a real opportunity to make 'life changing' investments in the company. As for a takeover target, I think this company has been at risk of being taken over for a good 18 months or so. I am not aware of any interest personally however.

Recent market sentiment has been very negative toward Apex which has been consistent over the past two years I have been following the company.

The financial equation underpinning AXM is improving all the time in my view.
