BTW I'm a Pom living in England with a healthy hatred of the AIM market which is what brought me to the ASX .

Most of the companies I've sold out of over the past couple of years have been for pennies on the pound .

Of the other exceptions I sold out of Carbon Energy with a 100% profit because I don't think Australia is the right place to get in situ coal gasification away . Will buy back in if they make progress in other countries .

Velocys was one of 5 companies I bought into that Roman Abrahamovich subsequently bought into . Three of which (that I know of) Peter Bond (Linc Energy) and his son Adam are involved in .

I don't know whether R.A. bought in due to his own personal due diligence or because his flunkies identified it as an investment .

They are all speculative .

Two of them are concentrated on waste destruction by various means of gasification ; Alter Nrg on the TSX and Powerhouse Energy on AIM . I'd say they are both worth a look along with AFC , a fuel cell manufacturer which Adam Bond manages and R.A. has a stake in (their facility is only 8 miles away from Abrahamovich's soccer team Chelsea's training ground) .

AFC are focused on fuel cells to consume almost pure hydrogen from chlorine plants but also
own about a 25% stake in Waste2Energy .

I hold AFC , Alter Nrg and Powerhouse . You Aussies are more investment minded than the London crowd but I understand it's much more difficult for you to invest in overseas securities on junior markets .

Not a ramp , just a couple of ideas for you !
