Bit of research reveals historic links between BCL and Rio. Obvs Rio already has established in country links with bots govt in other areas (eg diamonds). Lots of synergies for all to get involved in kalahari. Could a deal be put together which sees BCL/Rio getting involved. Could be a win win great pr for govt with an unemployed workforce from BCL. You only need to look at the jv Rio is doing with SAV in Mozambique in Mineral sands to see that Rio have appetite to structure deals in a host of different ways. BCL going pop could be a game changer.
