Description
The United States ARMY JM&L LCMC is planning a sole source award to Recon Optical Inc. for inspection, refurbishment, and reconditioning of all four (4) CROWS Lightning (CROWS-L) weapon stations. The CROWS-L weapon stations will be returned to peak performance configuration and service condition as per the base CROWS-L system contract prior to sending to Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). Prior to fielding the CROWS-L systems, the gimbals will be refurbished by the contractor, and repairs will be documented. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The anticipated award date for this action is 26 September 2007. See number note 22
