You can read below but I am interested in this deal because it has a knock-on effect for zinc and is the start of further consolidation and investment into the majors who will then be shopping for new projects.
Admiral Bay for example would be peanuts for these guys (The Qatari Fund has 100 billion in assets) and projects of this size are increasingly hard to come by.

You have to like zinc to like Xstrata & Glencore. They are the biggest zinc miner and trader.
