The question I am asking about INQ is how much a major financial institution would have to pay to develop a retail platform such as Hub24, and how much time would it take.
ajshakey says that Hub24 for is "also only in its infancy". That may be true for the level of take up, but not true of its development.
In a former role, I did a due diligence on the platform, and found in delivered as promised, and was superior to the alternatives that were reviewed.
In another former role, I worked with a major financial institution as the business owner of a large piece of technology infrastructure.
I doubt that such a platform could be built for the $30 million odd market cap of INQ, and as such, INQ is a reasonable target for take over for an institution with a large retail wealth management client base.
That is why I have been buying.
*These are, off course, my personal opinions, based on broad impressions of system development costs that are a few years out of date. As such I would encourage investors to make their own enquiries. They may arrive at a different conclusions.
All the best
