I'm not sure whether you refering to the technology refered to in the article or DES itself?

DES is not really a technology company but stands to gain substaintially on the technology mentioned in the article but does not need it for survivial.

DES is already making money, traditional DVD's and online advertising (booming) holding the fort while music downloads and digital outlets gather pace.
