True markcies - the Toronto do is the big one for people from the north american industry apparently - hundreds of companies represented and about 20,000 people registered to attend.

But how is it necessarily a bad thing that MK is there? There will be some good, some bad and some downright ugly on show in Toronto. The mere fact that Michael Kiernan is there does not indicate which category MON belongs to.

I know that the blogger Bill Cara had a luncheon meeting with MK on about the first day of the convention. Now Cara knows his way around the Canadian mining and investment communities so I suggest that MK got off to a fair start with his networking efforts in Toronto.

I think that it would have been more remiss of MK not to be there given his intentions to raise money in Canada.
