I am a spread trader using IB TWS and need a data link to get real time data to an excel spreadsheet. Very basic stuff - I don't want to transmit orders - just real time data.
The reason for this? I trade multi market stocks against each other. Example is a LSE (GBP based stock) vs a US ADR (US$ based). As far as I can see IB don't have the ability to convert ratio's and currencies to show prem/disc on different exchanges with different currencies.
The IB system has DDE excel for Winsows only. The only other option I can find is to build a link with Java -and as a non-techie that is not an option.
