BT,
The last SPP/SPO was in 2011 at 10c.
It was extended twice.
There were a large number of on market director purchases at that time as is shown at http://nusepboardreform.info/purchasesdetail.html#SPOTrades
It makes for interesting reading.
Could this have been the "creating a false market" that the auditors reported to ASIC?
Many of the long-termers will have participated many times in SPOs or SPPs (I am not sure what the difference is?) and will feel let down as the price has ALWAYS dropped soon after the closing date of the offer.
For those who were not around in 2011, or are factually-challenged, immediately after that SPO, the priced dropped below the SPO price. It made a brief resurgence above, coincidentally, right before the ill-fated AGM where Mr Goh exercised, but did not pay for shares and when there was a chance that there would be positive additions to the board, thwarted by means of the unpaid gohst shares being voted against constructive change.
Some believe this time will be different.
We live in hope.
