Reasons I post on ETC:
1. I want to make money - if the ETC story is correct, it should be a good way to make money. In this particular case, I'm still not convinced, but I'm following it until I've decided either way. As you'll have noticed, I haven't yet expressed a sentiment on ETC either.

2. I think I have something to offer this forum - I have skills in analysis and information finding that I consider to be useful. Some on these threads seem to find this unpalatable. I cannot fathom why.

3. I am a strong believer in keeping information symmetry in markets. I don't like to see newbie investors making decisions based on limited and/or incorrect information available on forums.

I have never worked in the finance or investment sector. I have no connections to anyone worth knowing. But if you're feeling paranoid about my intentions, believe me you should probably also feel a little paranoid about those of some other posters on here.
