Israeli coys. seem to be the flavour of the month in this area. Don't wish to cross promote but there is speculation on ELS.asx.....a video and data service specialising in autonomous driving and secure data transmission(I don't hold) ....that Mobileye may be using their tech. I imagine A.I. advances would be a priority in this space (WBT's neuromorphic research emphasis comes to mind) as well as many other advantages arising from faster speeds, on chip processing etc. Really its just another example of the market WBT can access.
And just to mess with your mind a bit more, the link provided by @Fatman8 points out the importance of the Israel Defense Force as a tech incubator. ELS.asx -also a military tech coy. has sold product to the IDF. A non executive director of WBT -Fred Bart- is Chairman of EOS.asx - an Aust. defense tech coy that has sold product to he IDF (that can't be detailed because of national security reasons).

Military tech is a recurring theme.
I've always been puzzled by the the appointment of Fred Bart. One of the main reasons I have invested with WBT is the quality of the management team and Fred seems to be a ringer here. There's always been (to my mind) a bit of an off flavour aspect to Fred because of his association with audiopixel (Google it, although to be fair its outperformed most of my portfolio).
Where am I going with this? Buggered if i know. I feel like I'm in a Dan Brown novel - everything seems really relevant and important but I just can't connect the dots yet.
Anyhow it serves to illustrate the complex negotiations that Coby Hanoch must be navigating at the moment. Patience, I think, will be rewarded.
