You said to Kosenar, "we need to avoid becoming broken records and living in the past." I'd like to remin you of a famous quote by George Santayana "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

This has been paraphrased to "Those who cannot learn from history are condemned to repeat it."

The past needs to be cleared, as Kosenar said, to move forward with a clean slate. We'll never get any serious progress until that occurs, no matter how good the technology is.

And by the way, Gohgate is far from history. It gets murkier by the day.
