I am not sure I understand your comment. So the State Govt determines CNX future? CNX cannot create or determine its own destiny? Surely, other avenues exist for CNX in Australia and the rest of the world. Also, where are the other major shareholders applying pressure on the Qld Govt (eg Incitec Pivot)? CNX Board and executives present CNX as a victim - sign of a weak Board and Executives.
BTW, I agree with the downsizing of the public service, too many public servants that are not value adding to the economy, the mining boom is over. Time to get realistic in Qld and the rest of the country.
