WesTrac Equipment Pty Ltd is the Caterpillar dealer for Western Australia and is a subsidiary of Australian Capital Equity Pty Limited, which is in turn wholly owned by Mr Kerry Stokes. Established in 1989, WesTrac is one of the larger Caterpillar dealers in the world. With its head office located in Perth, Western Australia, on a property extending to 44 acres, it also has 14 strategically located branches throughout the State.

Its major customers are from the mining industry but WesTrac is also very successful in the construction, forestry and governmental markets. As well as providing new machines and outstanding after sales service to the market, WesTrac's greatest investment is in its people. Amongst WesTrac's 1000+ employees are 146 apprentices to cater for the future needs of the Company.
