The article seems to be implying that EOS will be offering the capability to clean up the space debris, that may occur in the future and would be a good revenue source, likely would have to be a global initiative.
There should be plenty of money in just tracking the flight paths of the debris as insurance companies would probably mandate its use. It would also increase the life span of satellites as they have limited fuel to change positions.
