I tink there are many legalities that should be looked at.
For starters, the apparent "advanced" talks with FMG regarding rail. Did it ever exist? How advanced was it? Did WR just feed us that bs story to inflate the share price just so he could sell out at $4?
How many shareholders bought more or held their shares based on that information?
How can BRM directors tell shareholders to reject the WNI offer, then tell us to accept it? Surely the $1.50 cash component wasn't the ultimate decider.
Clearly WNI has used associates to buy up just about ALL shares sold on market, how is that legal?
WNI continually printing more and more shares will destroy shareholder value ( therefore the value of my BRM shares if the takeover succeeded). How can a Chinese company take over an Australian asset simply by issuing nothing but paper money? ( stock )
How many AUSTRALIAN based shareholders accepted the WNI offer? If its an extremely small proportion, is that in the nations best interests to lose this asset? How is that even possible that Asian based investors decide they want a Hong Kong limo company to take over an Australian resource company?
Where is the value of the Opthalamia project and other prospects included in the take over offer? What's to stop the WNI management from deliberately dragging their heels on all BRM projects to advance their interests?
Mr Tipper has clearly been gagged by his masters! Or he's the quietest CEO I've ever come across! I hear about every other I/O junior..... Media block out on BRM?
So many questions :-/
If they drag out the take over, they can't drag out delaying announcements regarding project advancement! If the t/o was successful THEN announcements come out.... Well a lawyer will be in touch with Brockman/WNI !
