Following Bayan's sabotage of the Tabang JV WEC's BCB technology is obviously regarded as commercially inexistant. For now Bayan has succeeded in averting the export ban for low rank coal by hindering the Tabang plant from ramping up.

Interestingly the article continues:
"Basically, the government will support all efforts from companies who want to develop or want to make some upgrading efforts or facilities," Prasodjo said, referring to coal."

Actually we have witnessed the government's strong support in NOT issuing an export license to KSC for more than two years.
