Last night I had dinner at a friend who was also hosting a group of visiting indian business people with strong ties to the Modi Gov.
It seems the Indians know the planets are aligning in their favour with the policies of their new Government, drop in oil and gas prices, and the opportunity to acquire Aussie resource assets with a lower $ AUD and a huge drop in prices of commodities and OZ companies…. It’s bargain time…
The indication from conversations around the table is their inclination to acquire struggling resource companies and new start up ones… As a shareholder in many mineral exploration companies, it was natural that I give them a plug and underline the value in acquiring their rich tenements. Most of these guys have good real estate but lack the capability to develop it… The Indians have the experience and skilled work force…They run practically most service businesses in Melbourne.. So why not mining?..... And if PESCO dropped their plans to build a 600mil ton steel factory in India because of red tape and complications... Local tycoons could easily pick up the ball and run for their country...
In 2012, The Indians were sniffing Cullen. At that time the WPIOP was dead in the water and we thought they could be our saviours… CUL SP ran from 2c to 6c in a week….. but the Guardians of the WPIOP who were major CUL shareholders managed to scare off the Indians and sent them packing… Ancient history… but history repeats its self… It wouldn’t be for CUL… it’s already “spoken for”… and in bed with AIP and many…. many ….. dud JVs with weak struggling locals… But perhaps other small explorers may see a change in their fortunes…
Cullenites are waiting to see if the new drilling would show an increase in the Iron ore resource.. Hopefully our strong Local big boy Aurizon AZJ can help us here…. Also Nickel results from our Pals Matsa MAT are due anytime… Any good news now will pay dividends in the future… Cause nothing will make share prices move up in this crazy market… CUL @ 0.6c …
