To a point but there are more muslims in india than there is in Pakistan. It really is a deeper issue formented by the brits during partition. Kashmir, where the recent bombing killing 44 indian military happened, is 80% muslim but the maharaja at the time chose to stay with India. There is a large separatist movement there but the general population is inclined to stay with India from an economic sense. Pakistan is politically, religiously and economically backward and has other enemies in the region apart from India. No easy fix here and dispute over the line of control will continue indefinitely. Imo
