Kashmir boasts of having one of the world's highest green golf courses, as well as a clubhouse, at Gulmarg.   

I was visiting the this golf course in 2008 and the only visitors were stupid westerners like myself.

I could hear all these weapons being fired in close proximit. Being a bit of stirrer and acting as an ignorant tourist, I asked an Indian officer what was going on in this area. He had this silly grin, and said it was simply a military excercise.

Another aside comment, is that the Kashmiri's claim Jesus Christ body is laid to rest in a temple in Srinagar.
