Coal India, the world's biggest coalminer, wants to import 50million tonnes of thermal coal a year from Australia, Indonesia and Mozambique from 2016-17 to cover a forecast increase in demand for power, chairman Partha Bhattacharya told The Australian yesterday.

In an ever increasing, power hunger developing world, demand for all forms of energy will keep increasing...oil, natural gas, uranium, and coal. Both China and India are looking to secure LONG TERM supplies of all of these.

RIV is a WORLD CLASS coal resource, both thermal and high quality coking coal. If you think that have some coal now, wait till they come out with what's in their second lease. It will be a 'company maker' all on it's own.
