lucky that iran is the evil country - as well as that guy assaad (ok he is not a country) in syria blah blah.. nevertheless democracy is alive and well in saudi arabia - they seem to have elections all the time blah blah blah - by contrast both syria and iran are total dictatorships with totalitarian rule .

control mechanism , to decide the overall direction of the country - and elections are fought
