I had a small topup @ 7.6 cents, so yes at these prices I do believe it is worth a small investment, irrespective of the nonsense that is going on.
I've been throwing around a few other theories to try and get to the bottom of the motivation for getting the deal through. One is that ESG is close to being taken over so consolidating GGX and OIP's assets has a double benefit in that the SP remains in the doldrums and hopefully off the radar for any potential ESG suitor (due to this and a lack of action with drilling etc...) AND it gives the boys a new project once/if ESG is taken over.
Of course I'm just hypothesising but I just can't help but think there is something more to all of this than my simple brain can make sense of.
I think with Ingalls and ESG approving this the deal will get through. Buy a few at these prices and don't look again til around March once everything has settled down.
