Proves my point - you don't get it.
Who would bother with solar power AND a grid connection if the pricing reflected the costing? Nobody. People with solar would try to go off grid to avoid paying for the infrastructure which is principally a long term fixed cost, shifting the burden to remaining users. If half the state goes off grid, electricity prices double for the other half.
