Seriously? This share hasnt reached over $1.20 in the last 12 months. If you all thought it was worth $3 or $4 then presumably you all have 100% of your investment in VLA? Sure there is a chance - we all think a good chance - that everything will turn out rosy and the share price will exceed $1.75. Then there is Alchemia.
I appreciate that most of you were willing to take the risk and this buyout means the decision has been taken out of your hands. But for what we have now, for what we know now, a price that is more than double the current price is a pretty good result.
Yes, I have VLA shares bought at 50c some time ago, yes I didnt buy as many as I should have, yes I would prefer a $5 price. But unless you are a very very long term shareholder, you have made a profit on this share.
