This is a bit disappointing. I thought we were totally focused on looking for a CEO and further acquisitions with material synergy?
I find the lack of focus disturbing, paraphrasing a great man in a silly hat.
Oh...., a bit off topic, but all things being equal why would you get involved in a load of businesses thrown together for an IPO which aren't (or weren't previously) directly competitive with one another or at least in the same or adjacent/vertical markets from one another? What synergies can be derived? What proportion of each separate market does each business command/control? What level of competition does the combination remove from the market, and/or how does it enable the businesses to better compete after the conglomeration? Etc etc etc.
