I know when ozapps (only guessing about 1990) was there, they had a very small ball mill on site (maybe 5 tonnes per hour). over 90% of the gold was free milling. Dennis clark and his airleg miners were producing most of the tonnes from stopes on the 14, 17 and possibly the 18 level.
They built a carbon in pulp plant which was a waste of money and the mine closed in about 1991 and all the equipment was removed in 1999.
Lets hope current management has acquired the mill in Maldon to suit the mine and not changing the mine production to suit the mill which forces a lot of low grade ore to be pumped through the mill just to keep it going.
