i can assure you i'm invested in other au stocks,
and much more heavily than i am in this one. which
is just as well. i'll
stay invested in DIO unless the likes of Baker
Steel decide to opt out (they seem to have a pretty
good grasp of things). but i'd be interested to know
just how many companies D.Macarthur is currently secretary for, what fraction of his working week involves service to DIO
and the interests of DIO shareholders. i mean
he is on, correct me if i'm mistaken, $150,000 p.a. from
DIO alone and i would have thought that in itself was plenty
enough for a full time job. after all, we aren't talking rocket science nor brain surgery. and we're not talking
about a Bradman of his profession.
boards ought to reward themselves after, and for, having rewarded their shareholders.
