I wonder if the spike today has anything to do with the news a few days ago that VW would be announcing their supplier for car batteries in the USA. Speculative buying naturally. IMO VW would probably take a stake as well when you look at their previous investments in new technologies they are interested in. Do some research people. It's all there.
