I suspect neither of us would have responded if we didn't think he was on to something.
Not sure the "boredom" terminology would be confusing to anyone who has actually practiced what he mentioned.
Just not a word they would ever use to describe the experience.
I was only suggesting that the fact he uses such a word indicates he has plenty of further research ahead of him !
As an aside I think the lack of contact with the life of one's body and the experience of being part of Nature, along with all on Earth, in general is a very significant (perhaps even the main) factor in the low grade madness that permeates life in all modern cities and is increasing. A completely unbalanced existence for a human being. Not surprising there is such a feeling of disatisfaction, lack of meaning and despair in so many.
