Hi Rappa, Agreed! Solitude is that wonderful state of being alone, without feeling lonely. A state in which we can engage with the self; relax, read, think, meditate, dream, exercise or engage in creative pursuits. It is also a state in which we can be our own best company, and depending on the company we keep, we will often find ourselves craving to be back in this state again. Some of the best satori ( enlightenment with accompanying good feelings) moments happen while we are in a state of solitude. I believe that solitude is an important prelude to finding real and lasting happiness.
