I suppose my point is that even if the gearing was at 60% or even 65%, would the commercial lenders (AMP, ING and the CBA) that are also shareholders not lend to this entity?
I see these 3 institutions lending to people even in todays environment at 90% LVR.
It just seems to be a little strange that they would not lend assistance to a commercially viable entity, with more than enough servicing ability, particulary when it is in their interests.
Has ING been one of the major sellers?
