Hi Nasabear, the problem has been that some topics have not been wanted by members participating in the General forum, so they were moved to Religion where they ended up causing frustration in there. As the Debate forum has hardly been used, it was decided that, at this stage, it would be the best place for those threads. It's a broad umbrella to fit any number of topics that don't really fit into the other forums.

These decisions are more often than not based on member feedback so this seemed to be a sensible compromise. Sometimes deciding what goes where on a case by case basis is a grey area, so we can only do the best we can and it doesn't have to be an exact science! The aim is to keep each forum on topic as much as possible.

Politics usually is discussion about politicians and policies. Debate, as I've said, is a wide umbrella.
