That's probably a bit unfair ckent. WOW have not had the success they have achieved just by waiting for the others to implode - in fact it has been the overwhelming success of their "Fresh Food people" marketing concept and store refurbishments combined with buying initiatives, logisitics developments and just about everything else a corporate can do right that has created WOW's 'luck' and this success has simply placed more pressure on the others.
They were not however so successful with wholesaling (hardly surprising when they are also the major retail competitor od most of the wholesale customers) and have quickly moved out of it.
