Talk about clearing the slate!!!
A fresh start for the new board??? – Although the impairment charges were unknown they were flagged by the new board and have now been announced! This announcement has come a week or so before the End of year results are due out plus the release of the new company strategy! May be the board didn’t want this to over shadow next week’s announcement?
We as shareholders can only judge the new company once we know what this new stratagem is! And we now know it’s not the entertainment side of the business! So it has to be Media and Prime knows Media!!!
