I was in the region in April last year and it was very wet around Emerald / Rockhampton then.
As previously mentioned rain will delay projects, but hoping it will do the following
- Bigger better infrastructure projects - incase of future floods - prevention work
- Repairs on current infrastructure
- Other projects will come online quicker as repair work has to be done to existing projects
- Create new opportunities
