I'm quite comfortable with the bill to be split to be honest - I don't think the ownership of multiple media types should be concentrated into the hands of a few if we really value free speech.

If the Government is really concerned about helping the local media then THE GOVERNMENT should be working with all the Opposition groups to get these bills through. At the end of the day if the Opposition was holding off passing reasonable bills I am willing to write to my local MP and Opposition groups as well if relevant. However as it stands its not the Opposition been unreasonable and that lays squarely with the incumbents.
