I think TXN could jump ahead of SEA. I'm a bit surprised it hasn't. SEA's offer isn't at a huge premium to its previous price, and TXN has usually traded above current levels for much of the last couple of years. The takeover is a clear bid of confidence in the value of TXN's assets, and another bid is still not out of the question. Potentially, TXN's upcoming results could be great and force SEA to offer 3:2, or even TXN to cancel on the deal (which I think is very unlikely).

I have stopped topping up, but still think the current price is a bargain for TXN, all things considered. I sold a few SEA shares to top up on a few more TXN (they were the most expensive TXN I bought - 38.5c, I sold the SEA for 80.5c). I'm still hedging my bets by holding a reasonable amount of SEA in case the deal does fall through, but if the prices make exchanging more look good I might do some more. Currently they're more balanced, and the fundamentals have changed slightly.

I'm very excitedly watching both at the moment.
