MON have said alot of things and not delivered one yet, the reason i bought last year and sold after 1 month is because i thought i could smell a rat, turns out i did, the big call last year was for MON to deliver 10,000 OZs per month by January 2008.

I know things dont always go to plan but for the company to state that cash costs are not coming down below $700 before december 2008 signals a big red flag, december 2008 is their target mind you, thats 10 months away, i mean thats a very long time with no certainty of that goal being acheived,

I mean did they throw out that wild time line knowing that they will acheive production much earlier and come to the market with a low and behold surprise that look what we have acheived"MK SAVES THE DAY" we are 6 months ahead on our production costs, i would find it hard to beleive that they would shoot themselves in the foot like that, i feel that they just cant get the production up and its the reason for such high production costs, some other poster stated that it was a through put problem, basically losing the ore in the mill, getting pumped out to the tailings dam, i find this hard to beleive the cause of no production.

Its pits like Walhalla that just dosnt havnt much gold in it and as i have said over and over again, "Why the hell to they continue with such a bad pit" MKs direct qoute was that it was ok to iron out problems in the mill, this is just the biggest load of crap i have ever heard out of a MK, sort of like we know we dont have much here but lets keep on processing low grade ore for the sake of it, for christ sake, the company may as well just burn any cash it has because essentially thats what is happening.

It really is an unbeleiveable situation, i do hope that MON can turn it around but i feel that the last statement of december 2008 to lower costs is just an outrage, something is horribly wrong and where there is smoke there is fire.

Good luck with it, MK still needs a good foot up his arse for the comapnys performance to date.
