IFL currently up 2.5% at 8.59/8.60 with day's high of 8.61. I bought IFL in 4 tranches with the best being at 7.44av. Just sold a chunk at 8.60. In earlier posts i reckoned that 'IFL can reach $9.00 by end of April' so why sell a chunk now? Well at 8.60 its a gain of almost 15.6% which is not to be sneezed at. More importantly the gain occurred in under 3 weeks which is very rapid. My strategy is to take some money off the table and let the balance accrue divs and (hopefully) further CG.
Still feel IFL can get to $9.00 over next 2 months mainly coz the HY result stated:
Strengths
Diversified earnings base
Reliable cost control
PREDICTABLE cash flows... phew!
Positive LONG TERM (sustainable) fundamentals with more people and high per capita growth. (see graph p.20)
Plus this model has the ability to SCALE.
