They probably didn’t use the jiggers on all horses, so they won’t all lose a length..there would be risks of injury with jiggers..as in a horse may become very flighty in fear of its next shock and easily spooked into injuring itself by bolting into a fence...so the really valuable top liners could have been left alone...
be interesting to see his injury / fatality stats on horses bolting etc
