Yes there are questions that remain.And more clarity will be forth-coming in the next few weeks.
But we do know that ORO have identified mineralization at MB through their survey work and their understanding of the geology of the area.And DMN are confident enough to get involved in the project,in fact they are carrying the most risk in the J/V.So they will do all in their power to make it a success.
Mt Barrett is in the Yilgarn Craton.Which translates as the premier mineral province in Australia.It attracts more than half of Australia's mineral exploration expenditure and produces 2/3 of all Au production and most of the Ni. Just around the Laverton area two major Au mines are in operation,namely Granny Smith and Sunrise Dam.
And of course just south of Laverton is Mt Weld.Once operational MW is expected to be the largest source of REE outside of China.Producing primarily Niobium and Tantalum. It is said that the Yilgarn Craton may host up to 60% of the worlds recoverable REE.
So any explorer who wants to find and eventually mine REE,Precious metals or Base metals is looking in the perfect place,by drilling in the region that ORO and DMN find themselves in.
