No, they specified to follow the checklist in the manual.
Seriously, do you think that is an adequate response, whether they are supposed to do it from memory or not, to two issues with the Lion plane? Even if they realised what the problem was, they have to do something they’ve never done before except perhaps in training, disengage the appropriate electronics and start hand winding the tab trim wheels?
