Just to put things in perspective, imho, our real enemy here at the moment is not a crumbling Europe or a slowing China but rather the unrelenting rain.
Companies like BRU and SXY are fifteenish (ball park figure) times the market cap of EXE...and why ?? because they are more advanced and proved some of their potential and EXE has so far this year been denied that opportunity.
So perhaps if EXE could get their 22 holes dug we would be in the same league as an SXY or a BRU...what would that mean for the SP...50c, $1, $1.50 ?? who knows.
In contrast since the latest round of Euro woes started along with evidence of a slowing China SXY has lost about 25% of it's MC and BRU less than 20%......so clearly the real problem here is EXE's lack of opportunity to prove itself so far this year and by comparison Europe and China are minor issues.
The other thing that is niggling at me is the non eventuality of the second drill rig so far. The date keeps getting pushed back and the market hates to be drip fed bad news. I know I will sleep a little easier when that rig is finally mobilized. However I have been assured personally and through asx anns that it is just a matter of new drill commissioning....what that means I am not exactly sure....but I have seen ausdrill advertizing for drillers and fitters in Toowoomba so perhaps they are struggling to find manpower to operate and maintain the rig ?? again, who knows....
anyway if that's all that is the problem then there is every chance that in 2013 we can look back on these bad old days of an 11c share price and laugh......and laugh
In the meantime I am grateful for this weeks dry weather (and next week as well). Fingers crossed for a darr spud next week.
