Well said Patient and West Coast.

Really, for an online retailer, who should have distribution agreements with logistics and transport people, the staff should be down to about 50 at maximum. 800 or so simply leaves me incredulous.

And why would they need an expensively paid country head of operations for every location? Haven't they heard of video conferencing, and air flight (which is cheap and fast across Asia).

I am not sure what is going on here with this company. It may be lacking leadership and direction.

There appears to be a fundamental business disconnect somewhere, and seems to have begun when Patrick Linden resigned.

The current CEO seems to spend time on Twitter talking about movies and stuff. Everyone needs a personal life, but quite frankly, what the shareholders want to see is more maturity, less fraternising and more 24 hour complete dedicated work ethic. The kind of thing that only an Asian dynamo in Asia can bring.

I'm not sure this current CEO is up to the job really, he may have good ideas, and lots of speak, but actually implementing these in a competitive Asian business world is a completely different thing - hence the disconnect.

It might be best if the move to the Ensogo brand is accompanied by a new CEO, quite possibly one of Asian origin who may also own and operate successful multinational Asian businesses in the region, perhaps a logistics business.

There are some Asian dynamo's, and business tigers out there, and one of them should be running this company, and not gifting $4.5 million kick-backs in the "HOPE" of securing better deals - what the hell is that? Naivety?

Who knows Asia best? Asian businessmen, with Asian connections, that's who.

Find one, give them their head and let them run with it.

    IBY/Ensogo needs an EGM.
