What I'd like to see is exactly that. Ian doing the exploration leadership and managing the Geo's. Lets seperate that activity from the role of the MD who should be focussed on setting the agenda, managing timeframes, delivering on deliverables, finance and keeping shareholders close.
I'm not sure either board has sufficient independance to ensure that shareholders are being appropriately represented. The lack of concern shown for grossly missed timetables has spoken volumes. Ian should not be Chairman of IFE - I don't get it and my thoughts is it can only be ego that he remains.
Reason for holding is the land is exciting and ultimately its value will speak in the shareprice.
