I also have concerns about the announcement of Ian Allen's departure from DataDot and these concerns are what lead me to this site.

I was interested to see what others opinions were of this company prior to investing.

Your comment on Feb 10th about Ian Allen not answering his phone following the announcement of him "ceasing" employment with the company has posed the question - Do the DataDot board want Ian Allen to be contacted?

I would have to make the assumption that Mr Allen's phone was the property of the company which then poses the question of was he sacked as you asked in your posting on Feb 13th, and lost the opportunity to take shareholders calls or any calls for that matter?

I have been following the progress of this company for a while because a long term friend suggested I jump on the band wagon about 18 months ago, but with the recent goings on I am hesitant to invest my hard earned dollars on a company that seems to hold complete contempt for thier shareholders, especially being a virgin investor and extremely wary.
